On all modern Microsoft Windows Operating Systems you should be able to use the automatic installation tool located on the home page of this website, however the following instructions show how our service can be configured manually on a Microsoft Windows XP Operating System:

1 - Click the Windows Start menu, select 'Control Panel'.

2 - In the window that opens, click on the 'Network Connections' icon.

3 - Click 'Create a new connection' icon.

4 - A dialogue box (as shown below) will open which will welcome you to the New Connection Wizard, click 'next'.

4 - The select connection type dialog box will appear.  Select the 'connect to the Internet' option and click 'Next'.

5 - A new dialog box will appear.  Select 'Set up my connection manually', and click 'Next'.

6 - A dialog box will be shown.  Select 'Connect using a dial-up modem'.  Click 'Next'.

7 - In the 'ISP Name' box type the desired name for the connection.  An example of this would be to type connect4free. Click 'Next'.

8- A new dialog box will appear (shown below).  Type in 0845 6043041 into the 'Phone number' box. Click next.

9 - A new dialog box will appear asking whom should be able to use the new connection.  If you are unsure choose 'Anyone's use'. Click 'Next'.

10 - A new dialog box will appear. Type in the word business into the 'user name' box and the word dialup in the 'password' box. Ensure that both tick boxes are ticked. Click 'Next'.

11 - A dialog box will be shown telling you that the connection has been successfully created.  Click 'finish'.
