What is ISDN?
Short for Integrated Services Digital Network, ISDN is one of the fastest methods of connecting to the internet without using broadband (ADSL). An ISDN connection can operate at up to 128k per second - more than twice the speed of dialup. An ISDN connection consists of two 'channels', each of which can transfer information at speeds of 64kb per second (compared to 56kb for a dialup modem).
Although ISDN services have in many areas been replaced by faster broadband services, we still recognise the need for a reliable and cheap ISDN service. Our ISDN service uses the same number as our dialup service. Our service has no subscription fees and there is no need to sign up. You only pay the phone costs for the time you are online.
We aim to provide the highest quality service possible and support both 64k ISDN and 128k ISDN. Setup instructions are exactly the same as our regular dialup, just enter the settings to the right.
